PRODUCT AND SPATIAL DESIGN     WOOD     METAL
Tasked to create a lighting piece, my group and I decided to refurbish four wine crates sourced from local NYC wine and liquor stores into a chandelier.  Drilling holes in all sides including sacred geometric shapes allowed the Edison style lightbulbs to seep out from all sides of the fixture. We then stained each box and installed hardware such as electric wiring, hinges, hooks, and chains.  Each box was attached to each other using hinges so that the set could be hung as a chandelier or unhooked and displayed side by side.
